One Hundred and Five

This week, the chill out continues in the land of the long winters. Five artists from the Baltic region provide the heat for this frigid episode of Idyllic music. They are Fauna, Milieu, Sirk, Bersarin Quartett and Margareds. I'm Jim Nye.

We'll begin in the Russian Federation with downtempo quartet Fauna from their Emptiness EP. This is 'Dreamless'

From his 'Wasted Magic in the Sound' CD, Brian Grainger applies his distinctive style and reinterprets Helsinki-based Badloop's track 'Lumme'

Hear more of Milieu's remixes at archaichorizon.com and the original at www.badloop.com

From Norway, Sirk looks to the end of winter and dreams of summer. Here are 'The Wildflowers'

Here is Bersarin Quartett's ode to 'St. Petersburg'

We'll close with Polish duo Margareds from their outstanding 'Kingdom of Patience' CD. This is 'Stillborn'
