This week, we'll look at cosmetics or altering the appearance without affecting the body's structure or functions. It's by definition superficial but can change perceptions of oneself and others often for the better but not necessarily. Musical remixes are in essence cosmetics but so are tattoos and eyeliner. Setting the foundation for us are Pipo Pegoraro, Obedientbone, Mavro, ElodieO and Crystal Palace. I’m Jim Nye.
We'll begin in Brazil with Pipo Pegoraro and 'Varal'
Look to myspace.com/pipopegoraro for more
We return to Dartmoor for last look at the now defunct Obedientbone. This is 'Felt Tipped'
Check www.obedientbone.com for more
To the east over in Brighton, it's Mavro and 'Home'
Find more at www.myspace.com/mavromusic
Now to french expatriate ElodieO from her 'Stubborn' CD It's 'Unexpected So'
Hear more at elodieo.com
We'll close with Montreal's Crystal Palace. See if you can 'Put Your Finger On It'
You can find the 1.0 release at www.crystalpalacemusic.com
You can still download the 2 CD ready mixes of our 100th episode at www.Idyllicmusic.com and find a complete archive of show notes, links to all the artists featured on the podcast over the years and lots of free streaming audio as well.
Thanks for listening. I'm Jim Nye.
